Jennifer R. Niesen to Discuss 21st Amendment Litigation Update in ABDI’s Leadership Education Series
Jennifer R. Niesen will share an update on 21st Amendment litigation for the Associated Beer Distributors of Illinois’ (ABDI) Leadership Education Series on Wednesday, August 12, at 8 am CT. The session picks up where last month’s presentation left off, which covered recent legislative session developments.
During the session, Jennifer will walk members through recent developments in 21st Amendment litigation, an area that has seen active movement in the courts around direct-to-consumer shipping and the boundaries of state authority under the three-tier system, and what these developments mean for distributors.
This presentation is for ABDI members only. Members will receive the materials and link on Tuesday, August 11.
Christopoulos Law Group attorneys present monthly on trending industry topics on behalf of ABDI. Our next presentation will occur in September.
Jennifer represents suppliers, distributors and retailers in the beverage alcohol and hospitality industry advising on complex transactional and regulatory matters involving production, distribution and importation agreements; federal, state and local licensing matters and application issues; commercial leasing; partnership disputes and trademarks.
ABDI is the unified voice of beer distributors in Illinois, dedicated to advocating for the interests of beer wholesalers and their employees. Committed to upholding the integrity of the three-tier system, ABDI promotes responsible beer sales and consumption throughout the state.
