Jennifer R. Niesen Honored Among Law Bulletin Media’s 2026 40 Under Forty
Christopoulos Law Group is proud to announce that Jennifer R. Niesen has been named to Law Bulletin Media’s 2026 40 Under Forty list of Illinois Attorneys to Watch.
Jennifer works with clients at every level of the beverage alcohol and hospitality industry, including national multi-unit grocery chains, restaurants, package liquor stores, museums and large event venues. She also advises sports teams on alcohol marketing, sponsorship agreements and licensing compliance inside their stadiums. Most recently, she led the alcohol regulatory work behind the acquisition of a 25-location restaurant chain, guiding the new ownership through Illinois state and local requirements.
“It’s an honor to be included on this list,” Jennifer said. “I’m grateful to our clients, who bring us their hardest questions and trust us to work through them. There’s nothing better than watching a business we helped license open its doors.”
She also counsels clients on hemp beverages, where the regulatory landscape is still evolving. This year she was invited, for the second time, to speak at a national legal conference in Washington, D.C., on where hemp beverage regulation is headed in Illinois and nationally.
Jennifer is equally committed to advancing other women in hospitality and alcohol law. She led a “Women in Alcohol” continuing legal education panel for the Chicago Bar Association, presents regularly for the Women of the Vine & Spirits Foundation and remains a driving force in connecting women leaders throughout the industry.
